Our Story

A long lunch is now planned for the festival, featuring a menu curated by festival ambassador Paul West of the popular television series A River Cottage Australia. The River Cottage host will be chatting to local producers over the course of the day, and there will be plenty of opportunities to eat, discover and celebrate Gunnedah’s fantastic local produce.

Live music provided by Steve McCauley, The Crosby Sisters, Rennie Adams and The Gunnedah Conservatorium.

Onsite bar facilities available from 11:00 AM onwards.

Location: Riverside Racecourse, Gunnedah
Date: Saturday, 2 October
Time: 11:00 AM till 3:00 PM
Price: 6 Seated Table $300.00 or $60.00 Per Person

We are also monitoring COVID restrictions to ensure this event meets guidelines. 


For those that have a ticket to the festival, a return bus fare is included.

Buses depart from the Visitor Information Centre on Chandos St every 15 minutes.

Buses will run for the entire day until 3:15pm

Merchandise bags can be collected from the Visitor Information Centre prior to the event date or before catching the bus.

Those that do not hold a ticket will not be admitted in to the festival.

Harvest Gunnedah - Paul West

Paul West is a passionate advocate of real food, community, regional living and sustainable agriculture. Paul was the host of four series of A River Cottage Australia which followed his journey to grow an abundance of farm-fresh food and then cook and share it with his local community. Paul travels Australia hosting cooking demonstrations and can be seen on A River Cottage, currently showing on SBS and SBS On Demand.
